This is something bugs me for a long time. When you typed a wrong URL in Google Chrome for a few times, it will be there like forever. For example I mis-spelled outlook as “outlok”, i.e. “outlok.com” instead of “outlook losartan potassium.com”, and that domain is really registered by someone. It will auto-complete next time you start typing “ou”, and worse thing is that, it kind of stay there and you will repeatedly go to “outlok.com” by mistake.
To remove it, you need the following shortcut (move the cursor to the entry and press the shortcut key):
PC: Shift + Delete
Mac: Shift + FN + Delete
